Before we dive into today’s discussion of the James Comey indictment, I will run through some quick programming notes. As the year winds down, I plan to combine my two missed posts with my next two weeks off (Thanksgiving and Christmas), add in the usual Friday post, and release one each day for a week. The subject will be Article V and the amending process, and will run from November 3 to 7, covering the subject in depth. This will be part of a weekly discussion of the Constitution Article by Article, beginning with Article I next week. In each, I will focus on one way to better our current moment by restoring the meaning of each article, with Article V receiving comprehensive treatment. I will continue on through Article VII, ending somewhere in the Bill of Rights on December 18.
With that out of the way, let’s explore the recent Comey indictment.
